My Story — The Journey of Om Pant

Om Pant from Nepal – digital marketer and spiritual writer

Namaste, I’m Om Pant, also known simply as Om.
I was born in the peaceful hills of Baitadi, Nepal, and my life has been a long journey of learning, moving, falling, rising, and understanding myself.

Early Life & School Days

I completed my basic education at Shree Bal Jagritee Higher Secondary School, Suda Kanchanpur.
In Class 9 and 10, I chose Economics and Accountancy because in my teenage years I dreamed of becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA). I believed those subjects would help me in the future. I completed my SLC in 2010.

College & Changing Dreams

After school, I moved to Kathmandu and joined Global College of Management, Mid-Baneshwar, where I studied Management and Accountancy in Class 11 and 12 (completed in 2012).
I also studied Business Studies and Business Mathematics as optional subjects. After +2, I traveled to New Delhi, India, to study B.B.A. I joined NDIM (New Delhi Institute of Management) with GDBM in 2013. But soon I found out the college was giving distance education while promising regular classes. Because of this, I left the college. This was a confusing phase of my life.

A New Start in Dehradun

I moved to Dehradun in 2014 and joined Doon College of Agriculture Science & Technology, affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. This time, I worked hard and stayed focused. In my final year, I chose Finance and completed my B.B.A in 2016 with 70%. This was one of my strongest academic achievements.

Becoming a Teacher

After graduation, life took me back to where it all began — I worked as a teacher for two years (2017–2018) in the same school where I studied my 10th grade.Teaching gave me confidence, discipline, and a deeper understanding of human behavior.

Dreaming Bigger – Canada Journey

In 2019, I planned to study in Canada. I completed IELTS from IELTS Band 7 Institute, Dehradun with an overall score of 6.5. During COVID, I also studied Digital Marketing, because I believed it was the future as everything was becoming smart, digital, and AI-driven. I reached Montreal, Canada, in January 2021, and joined TAV College.

Studying abroad gave me:

  • International exposure
  • New friends from many countries
  • Understanding of cultures, traditions, and global thinking
  • Knowledge about real digital marketing

But slowly, my mental health suffered. I became homesick…Family conditions were not good…Confidence dropped…I felt lost…And I had no mentor or guide. I struggled silently. After completing 3 semesters, I returned to Nepal in August 2022

Return to Nepal & Restarting Life

After coming back, I stayed home for 3 months and then went back to teaching. I worked again for 2 years as a teacher.

During this time:

  • I created two YouTube channels and grew them.
  • I monetized both
  • I completed a 3-month Digital Marketing certification from Broadway Infosys, Kathmandu

I also continued learning new skills to stay relevant in this AI-driven world.

My Connection to Spirituality & Astrology

My spiritual journey started naturally when I lived in Dehradun, because Haridwar was close to me. I don’t know how — but spirituality entered my veins. It was automatic, effortless, and very deep. Whenever I felt confused or worried about life, I looked at my own birth chart. I learned a little astrology, numerology, tantra, and mantra. And I experienced many spiritual events which I will share in my upcoming blogs.

Spirituality is not a subject for me,
It is a part of who I am.

My Hobbies & Skills

I love writing about everything — life, thoughts, mistakes, spirituality, astrology, lessons, and tools that make life easier. I love to share whatever I have learned so far with my audience — whether they agree or not, that’s their freedom. If even one person finds help through my words, I am grateful.

Why I Created This Website

I created ompant.com.np to:

  • Share my life journey with seekers
  • Write about astrology, spirituality, mantra, tantra, numerology
  • Share personal insights and life lessons
  • Offer simple daily tools to make people’s lives easier
  • And yes… to earn, because money is a basic need and I have responsibilities toward my family

This website is a mix of both:

  • Material life
  • Spiritual life
